Success Criteria:
  • know what I am learning to do
  • I know what I need to to to get better
  • I plan activities that are going to help my learning
  • I follow my plan
  • use my learning time wisely (complete my activities on time)
We are on the path to becoming self directed learners in Adventure 9. This means we are beginning to make choices that help us grow as learners. We know what we are learning and what we need to do to get better.

We plan our week choosing activities that are going to help us reach our goals. We plan all the must do’s and then add the can do’s.

Reflection

I think
My Buddy thinks
I know what I am learning
I know what I am learning
reading, writing, maths.
Hannah is always on tract.
I know what I need to do to get better
I need to get better at maths.
Hannah wants to get better at maths.
I plan activities that are going to help my learning
I always plan things that will help my learning.
Hannah plans her activity that is going to help her learning.
I follow my plan

I follow my planning all the time when I am at school through my reading and maths.
Hannah always follows her plan.
I use my learning time wisely
I always use my time wisely when I am at school and things.
Hannah sometimes uses her time wisely.
Hannah, you successfully  plan your learning including all the must dos and can dos. You follow your plan to make sure you have completed all your learning activities.
Your next step is to take some more risks in your learning. It is OK to make mistakes, this is where some of our best learning comes from!

Class treaty

We are Adventure 9 and we are on a learning
adventure together.
We Are Learning: our rights and responsibilities as a learner in Adventure 9
In Adventure 9 we all have the right to:
be safe
listen and be heard
be treated fairly
have fun and be happy
have a tidy classroom
have quality resources for learning
With rights come responsibilities.
In Adventure 9 we all have the responsibility to:
respect our own and each others property
know what we are learning
complete our work and to allow others to also respect our environment
strive for excellence
take risks in our learning
In Adventure 9 we treat others
the waywe want to be treated.

How do you think our agreement is going to help your learning this year?
Because it will really help me with all sorts of things like reading and stuff.
this treaty will help me this year because I will be more focused  on my learning and not on other people.
