Grasshopper Tennis

I think you are ok at grasshopper Tennis because you are good at balancing the ball on the racket.
I can use the ‘temple’ position to hit the ball across the net to my partner.

I am not that great at bouncing the ball over the net I find it hard.

 I think you are very good at the temple position because you are very good at bouncing the ball over the net.
I can use my skills to play games like ‘just juice’ and ‘lobster tennis’.

I have been doing a lot of practice and can use the skills I know to squash that ball.

Reading Summary

What have you learned? I have learned that the manawatu river is very dirty and it is also one of the most dirtest rivers in the world.I have learned how to make a haiku deck and that helped me because I never new how to make one before.

Why is it important?It is important because if we use to much water in a day there won't be any left for the other people to drink.It is important because I am learning more and that will help me with any other learning I need to do.
How are you going to use what you have learned?could Put what I know in to the video so then I can give the watcher more detail so then they know what is happening.I can use my learning by showing my family and my friends and then they can piggy back on me.

What is your next learning step?My next step is to add a little bit more detail to my work so I get the true message to the watcher so they get what they are watching.My next step is to go a higher level and try different things and not just get help straight away.

My Integrity video


My integrity video made by Tom,Memphis,Atlanta and Hannah



WALT: demonstrate integrity (The value for term 3 is: Integrity)
Task: We are going to create an i-movie.
ü We need to show an example of Integrity
ü Explain the definition of Integrity
ü Explain why our clip is demonstrating integrity
How will we know our movie is successful?
ü    up to 30 seconds long
ü   clear camera work (thinking about the sun, keeping the camera still-moving slowly, in focus)
ü    clear voices (volume, wind, background noises, mumbling)
ü clear message - might need to explain the images (text to match the words)

How do you feel about your integrity movie? I feel good about my movie because I think think that we got the right message to the reading.
What parts of it do you particularly like and why? I like the part where Atlanta and I Are leaving our cloths down t the coruts Because we are not showing integrity.
What did/do you enjoy about this your integrity movie? I enjoyed making the video because I got to show how  my group and I could show integrity.

Kinetic and potential



WALT: create an i-movie to demonstrate kinetic and potential energy How will we know our movie is successful? ü clear camera work (thinking about the sun, keeping the camera still-moving slowly, in focus) ü clear voices and image (volume, wind, background noises, mumbling) ü clear message - might need to explain the images (text to match the words, is the science correct?)

I now know that:Potential is when something is being held up and it has the potential energy to drop and when it has dropped it has kinetic energy.
I enjoyed:making the video because we got to show what Potential and Kinetic energy is.
The most difficult was:Get the full message to the person so they under stand it.  
Working with my group was:Not the most easyest thing to do but it did get the gob done and that is the only thing that matters.

Time telling

What did I learn?
I learn't that when the big hand is half  way round the clock it means that it is half past.
Black Hat
What did I find the most difficult?
learning how to say the time and saying the time when the big hand has gone past half past.
Green Hat
What would I do differently if I could start my learning about time again?
I would have a go at taking more risk and not going to a friend straight away.
