Te Reo

WALT: use Te Reo in a simple conversation.
Task: create a puppet pals animation to share your learning.

Success Criteria
  • clear voice
  • saying the right words (makes sense)
  • animation matches the words
  • trying our best pronunciation

I think
My learning partner thinks
I used a clear voice
Yes I did use a clear voice because I watched my movie again and I heard my self properly.
I think that she did use a clear voice because I could hear her properly.
I used the right words
I did because I had been practising so I knew want the words meant.
She did use the right words because I know some of my Maori words.
My animation matched my words
Yes it did match my words because I had a practise run through to if it did.
I think that it did match because I saw her writing the words down so she will get them right.
What did I find challenging?
I found that get the words right challenging because I had only just learned them all then I had to remember them all.
I think she found the words hard because she had remember them.
What did I like about…
I liked that I got to learn some new Maori words like Me koe and that means (and you).
I think she liked learning some new Maori words because she didn't know some of them before.

Hannah, you and your group worked beautifully to create a video showing your Te Reo learning. You made sure all members of the group were included. You have thought about the success criteria, made sure you have the correct words to match the actions and used clear voices with correct pronunciation.
I am pleased you have learned some new words to use, I enjoyed watching it (and sharing it during assembly)!
